To begin, create the perfect apéritif with a visit to Eva and Antoine’s organic goat farm, La Bêle Fontenoise. There, you will discover exquisite artisanal cheeses and homemade savoury tarts. Next,if you fancy a sophisticated taste of land and sea, head to Honnecourt-sur-Escaut, just 11 km away. At Élodie’s aquaponics fish farm, you can enjoy traditionally smoked trout or ultra-fresh trout fillets.
After that, stock up on vibrant seasonal fruit and vegetables at Ferme du Tronquoy in Montigny-en-Cambrésis, only 15 minutes away. You can pick your own produce or browse the charming farm shop. If you are visiting between late August and October, be sure to explore Evelyne’s orchards at Tronquoy or Donatien and Marie’s Vergers de Vaucelles in Bantouzelle. During this season, it is the perfect time to pick crisp apples and juicy pears straight from the trees. Finally, strawberry lovers should not miss M. Caille’s Les Fraises de Caullery, where delicious strawberries are available from late April until October.
